The South Haven Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce that it has successfully renewed its accreditation under the Community Foundations National Standards, maintaining this distinction through July 2029.
The National Standards program represents the nation’s highest standards for philanthropic excellence. Accreditation confirms that the Foundation meets rigorous requirements for governance, financial stewardship, donor services, grantmaking, and accountability.
“This renewal reflects our ongoing commitment to serving our donors, nonprofit partners, and the South Haven area with integrity, transparency, and sound stewardship,” said Board President Delores Atkins. “We are proud to continue meeting the highest standards for community foundations nationwide.”
The South Haven Area Community Foundation works to strengthen the community by connecting people who care with causes that matter. By managing local endowment, scholarship and donor advised funds, the Foundation supports programs and projects that improve the quality of life throughout the South Haven area. The Foundation has granted over $1.6 million since its founding in 2005.
