The South Haven Community Foundation and South Haven Public Schools have partnered to simplify the scholarship application process for SHHS Students. Starting January 2022, students will be able to complete one scholarship application to be considered for up to 15 local scholarship opportunities. The Foundation and the School have contracted with software company AwardSpring to provide a secure and easy application process for these scholarships with the goal of increasing the number of students who apply for local scholarships.
“Students put in years of hard work getting the grades and doing the community service and other community work that qualifies them for these scholarships,” said Foundation scholarship chairperson Dene Hadden, “we wanted to make the application process a smooth and relatively quick way for these students to get consideration for the $60,000 worth of locally funded scholarships available. We are excited to join with our partnering scholarship sponsors to make this happen for our students.”
