These grants reflect the Foundation’s commitment to collaboration, partnership, and long-term community vitality. “Our community thrives when neighbors, nonprofits, and local leaders work together,” said Bob Straits, current Board President. “This year’s grant recipients demonstrate the creativity, compassion, and collaborative spirit that make South Haven such a remarkable place to live.” This year’s Grant Recipients include:

The South Haven Area Community Foundation works to support nonprofit organizations, steward charitable funds, and encourage community philanthropy. The Foundation manages and builds endowments, which generate interest annually to be paid out in grants. The Foundation makes grants available each year to local non-profit organizations. Grant criteria are aimed at enhancing quality of life in the South Haven Area with focus areas in education, arts and culture, and economic development. The Foundation has granted more than $1.6 million since the Foundation’s inception in 2005.
